The 1988 DAF TurboTwin, dakar participant in the same year.
The truck had two 600 hp turbodiesel engines with 11.6 liter displacement each.
It reached speeds far beyond 200 kmh/125 mph. Two were built, there is only one survivor to the day, the X1 piloted by Jan De Rooy from the Netherlands.
The X2 had a fatal rollover near top speed, one of the co drivers died when he flew out of the front window. His seatbelts, which he didn't fix to the rollcage but to the seat, caused him to fly through the windsheild with the seat
