Too modern graphic card issue

Postby AntiVirus » Wed Jun 20, 2007 2:58 pm

I have GeForce 7950GT 512MB, and in jk3 i have about 15-20fps in any graphic settings, any resolution. My friend says its because of too modern graphic card construction. On GF7600GT it was running perfectly, now 2 times better card and crap. :/

Do you know how this problem could be solved?

maxfps was 100, nothing changed after setting to 200, dynamicglow was 0 already.
Notice that on the same settings it was good on my old GF7600GT.
My friend had some radeon and after changing the card on GF7900GT has the same situation as me.

P.S. I also have always max 60 fps, even if really small maps and small rooms, and com_maxfps ain't changing this.

My driver software doesn't have many settings, and I don't see such, so rather no.

AA = AntiAliasing, dont believe that the driver software of a new graphic card has no such settings.

I know that, but there is only a poor control panel with almost nothing in it.

make sure you aren't running 2 screens at once.

also, set affinity to 1 instead of 2 CPUs

then read my multicore guide over at SMC (just ask me about it)

as ive got the EXACT same card.
